30 Days With The Apostle Paul – Day 3

day330 Days With The Apostle Paul: Day 3

I was listening intently to 1 Corinthians 7, and Paul’s words on marriage and singleness. I realized how little I have heard in all my years in the Church, even from my own Dad’s ministry, and he loved teaching from Paul’s epistles, I cannot remember a single sermon on 1 Corinthians 7, and I have only heard parts of the chapter referred to in scriptural readings at weddings.

My question to my own self and others who may be interested, is why is that the case? Why has there been so little taught on 1 Corinthians 7?

I know I have a limited scope, from Pentecostal, to non-Charismatic, to Anabaptist, to broad Evangelical churches, and even in my 14 years in simple house churches… I can not remember even a passing reference to that chapter.
