30 Days With The Apostle Paul: Day 2

30 Days With The Apostle Paul: Day 230day_day2

Romans 10 to 1 Corinthians 6

Sometimes you read and listen to the words of Scripture, and it is as if you are the target audience. Karl Barth said that the Scriptures inspire each time they are read in faith, it is as if the words come alive as you read them and inhale them into your own spirit.

Today was one of those same days.

The words watering my spirit, nourishing my soul. The depth and breadth of the words and impact, are more than the mere words of a first century Judean who was a pharisee and a Roman citizen. The words exhale the words of God and we inhale the very life and fiber of the Spirit of God. Something happens inside of us as we meditate and reflect and contemplate God and what His Word is saying to us. I am so thankful for that revelation today. ~ Sam Buick
