Life is Pilgrimage

Can we really embrace this truth?

I will tell you what transformed my life and my mindset.

I read the Bible, the Old Covenant, and the New Covenant as a narrative, and I put myself in the place of the biblical characters. What I discovered is “life is pilgrimage”.

I am in union with Christ, and the only real issue is pilgrimageif I am “aware” of that union, or do I need to be “awakened to its reality”? How present are you in His Presence? The Kingdom of God is within. It is an inward journey, that is not found in “meetings” or “hyper Christian events”. It is found in silence and solitude, and in quietness and rest. When you look at the patriarchs of the OT, the prophets, the ordinary people, they “walked with God and communed with God” and God used visions, dreams and encounters to speak to them as much as we use Facebook or our phones to communicate with each other.

If you commune in the Spirit, and let your spirit connect to God’s Spirit, you will be transformed by that encounter. Awaken to the reality. It already is, whether you know that or not.
