KOG Present Reality

The present reality of the Kingdom of God is that each believer has within Him the very essence of the Kingdom of God.  The most common definition of the Kingdom of God is the rule of God in our hearts and lives and all that we engage with in our day to day living.  That living presence of Christ in us is the rule of the Kingdom of God.

We need to lay hold of the reality that as we yield and live out our lives for Christ, the rule of God will increase and multiply in all that we are engaged in. Engaging with God, affects others, and their situations and contexts.  Walking in the Spirit allows our hearts and minds to be transformed and renewed, so that we can become more effective agents of grace in our society.

There is a synergy that takes place when diversely gifted believers come together, under the guidance of the Spirit, and in submission to the Scriptures.  That synergy reveals itself in making disciples more effective for Christ together, rather than apart from each other.  There is an increasing partnership and cooperation amongst those in the Body of Christ which reveals that the present reality of the Kingdom of God is marked by unity and diversity in advancing the Kingdom of God.
