10 When the LORD your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, 11 houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied, 12 be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
John 4: 10-15
10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” 11 “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?” 13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” 15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”
The Lord spoke to me and said:
“You have uncapped the well. You have stood in the midst of the well looking for water, but have not stood in faith believing I could uncap it for you. You have admired it and desired it, only to a point. Now you desire Me, My heart, My desire, My Kingdom, and the place that I have for you in it. Your focus is upon Me and in Me you will fulfill that which you have longed for. Know that the well is now uncapped, for your heart is for Me.
“Do not worry about others, but ask of Me and you will receive that which you need, and you will receive My wisdom for each and every situation you face. As you give away what I give to you, I will replenish, renew, restore, and strengthen you for each step that you walk with Me. It is uncapped, come now and drink from My living water, and let Me quench your thirst and be fed from My word and be satisfied. I am your oasis.”
2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
